IMGP3062

Mr Adrian (yes, the law lecturer) is in the parent support group of this club. He approached ivan to help to cover this event. And Ivan got me to go with him. This is one of the Sai Kang that ivan likes :S

It’s my first time shooting a sport event. Took this chance to take my 50-200mm out of my dry cabinet for a walk. As you can see from the picture above, it’s at Jalan Besar Stadium. The place where YOG and other major sport even is being held.

Those who knows me will know that i don’t like soccer. It’s like 22 guys chasing one ball. Damn lame can. But now i found a reason to, well, not hate it. And that’s the player’s expression.I find that they’re good subject actually. When they’re busy chasing the ball with their life, you can see their effort and epic facial expression.  It’s mostly xiao didi, but can see a few of their skills are quite good lor.

That’s all! Just in case you’re wondering, Mr Adrian did paid us but nothing significant, just enough for a decent lunch and travel back with public transport.

Clarke Quay and the area around it.

I just realised that i didn’t post up these pictures that i took quite a few weeks ago.

Was so damn busy with FYP and school stuff that i didn’t even have time to process these images Sad smile

Anyway, as so i heard that the sunset at clarke quay is quite nice, but i find it so~so only leh. But i guess for those who only go there only to club will find it refreshing. Lol.

The footstep of charismas is getting closer. At Clarke quay the decor are up already, and they started blasting Michael Buble’s X’mas songs liao loh~

IMGP2433

Then we went to shoot some cityscape around that area. Those who went shooting with me before will now that we actually do quite a lot of walking to shoot. lol. So those who don’t like to take photos will sure complain if they were with us.

From my window…

There few days it has been pouring and the sky has put up some great show!

The other night, there was “lightning-storm” and it’s actually quite amazing to watch it. The sky was flashing on and off.
After the rain, the sky is so clear that the stars (or is it satellites? anyway, i’ll take it as star) are very visible on the sky!

Then the next day it continued to rain the whole day. It was until the before sunset that the sky cleared out.

My ‘ideal’ situation for taking sunset! The golden hours yesterday as magnificent. Within a few mins, the colour of the sky changed from orange to pink to purple and then blue. Amazing.

No rain can’t get rainbow. Did you know that rainbow will always appear at the opposite direction of the sun?

My room was one of the best place to view rainbow! i’ve seen it quite a few time. Every time when it’s raining in the evening and the cloud isn’t covering the sun, it’s almost guarantee that there’s rainbow! In the next post i shall post up the images from my room view.

It’s sad that now there’s construction going on opposite my room and the building is covering up my great view. Sad smile

That’s all!

I’ve been and will be quite busy with my FYP this month, will try and post more frequently.

Pinnacle@Duxton

Had an impromptu outing to the Pinnacle@Duxton yesterday since it’s was post Hari Raya Haji holiday.

The Pinnacle@Duxton is an iconic housing project in Singapore's public housing history, with many unique features that set it apart from other HDB housing projects.

It was strategically located in the middle of Singapore + the sky bridge at level 50, it’s almost a guarantee for great view of the town of Singapore!

Public had to pay $5/pax for the entry fee to the sky bridge and it’s limited to 200pax per day. Lucky for my cousin, and I that we’ve free access to both sky bridge at level 50 and 26 as Ben was able to pull some strings Smile

It’s very windy up there, so it’s quite cooling. However, the Sun is damn sunny as well. So it’s like, it’s windy but it kinda bake you? oxymoronic?
